Pure Pleasure: JAKARTA FASHION WEEK 2009 IS COMING TO PACIFIC PLACE JAKARTA

Femina Group once again will held the famous annual Indonesian Fashion festival, Jakarta Fashion Week 2009, featuring the latest collection of the most talented and creative individuals in the fashion world, as well as more than 50 local & international Fashion designers . Four days of the finest of Indonesian luxury and couture fashion and accessories, Started at Nov 11 - 14 2009. and supported by Jakarta Tourism Board, this festival will be the most awaited fashion event this year as well in foreseeing the fashion trends and style in 2010. This event hopefully will mark the rise of fashion industry in Jakarta, as Jakarta continues to grow as one of major fashion central in Asia.

To maintain its quality as Fashion event with class and international standards. This year Jakarta Fashion Week will collaborate with India through their high profile fashion designers, Tarun Tahiliani and Malini Ramani. Together with two selected Indonesian Fashion Designers, they will show their creation on the runway for the upcoming Indian Festival, as part of the Jakarta Fashion Week, with 'Friendship through Culture' as it's theme, which will start on Oct 16 - 15 Dec 2009.

Following the success of Jakarta Fashion Week 2008 last year, Pacific Place Mall Jakarta, located in a teeming business district and known as one of the most exclusive shopping center in Jakarta, once again has been chosen to host Jakarta Fashion Week.

Jakarta Fashion Week so far, had captured the eye of the global fashion Industry. Last year Jakarta Fashion Week had drawn thousands of attendees , ranging from fashionistas, socialites, and foreign press, and also was featured on Fashion TV, hand to hand with the other Fashion Week all over the globe, such as Paris, Milan, Tokyo and New York.
